Coming Soon: Fusion 360 Fitness Center

Fusion360 Fitness Center Reston is about to get another exercise option. A local businesswoman, a trainer and a nutritionist are teaming to open Fusion 360 Fitness Center at 11130-D South Lakes Village Dr.

The studio will occupy the storefront space that formerly housed PetValu, before that store moved to a larger spot in the center earlier this year. The studio will offer exercise classes and personal training. The owners are eyeing a late December opening.

Owner Maya Agha had the idea for a boutique gym, and signed Joel Mayers, one of the head trainers and lead class instructors at Equinox Gym in Tyson’s Corner. Audrey Wood soon joined them as nutritionist and weight loss consultant and business manager.

>Wood says the business motto is “Mind Empowering Body!”

“Fusion 360 is a facility that integrates the mind and body together to achieve 360 degrees of fitness,” she said.  “We believe the mind empowers the body to achieve the desired goals. Here at Fusion 360, we will prepare our clients for success. Our classes are some of the highest calorie burning workout classes in the area, mixing cardio and weight training to achieve maximum results.”

Wood says most workouts will be 45 minutes or less.

“Our focus is to achieve maximum results in the least amount of time possible, so that our clients can continue with their regular schedule without jeopardizing their workout,” she said. “The workouts in each class are different, but still offering an intense high calorie burn as well as muscle confusion, so that each workout tricks your muscles, keeping the workout fresh and exciting each class.”

Fusion 360 is one of several new exercise facilities to open in Reston this year, including Lifetime Fitness (September) and Crunch Fitness (set to open in December).
