Holiday shopping for your family? How about picking up gifts for a family in need, too?

Cornerstones is running a Gifts for Kids Drive this holiday season. The Reston nonprofit says it has received personalized wish lists from more than 1,500 children. The organization has already received commitments to fulfill most of the lists, but is still looking for volunteers for the rest.

Simply complete the online donation form and a Cornerstones’ staff member will email you a child’s personalized list containing up to three wishes totaling $50 – $65 per child.

Wishes range from Legos to Barbie dolls, scooters to warm winter gloves.

Know of any other area nonprofits helping others this season (or all year round)? Email [email protected] and we will spread the word.
