Holiday Happenings: Meadowlark Gardens’ Winter Walk of Lights

With temperatures expected to warm up later in the week, it is the perfect time to take a stroll through Meadowlark Gardens’ Winter Walk of Lights.

The Northern Regional Park Authority has teamed with Dominion Virginia Power to turn the grounds of the Vienna park into a holiday oasis with thousands of LED lights illuminating the paths. Visitors take a half-mile stroll through nature-themed lights, then are treated to an animated light show by the lake. “Lakeside Lights” features 40,000 LED lights on 200 circuits changing colors to five holiday songs.
