Honors For SLHS Soccer Player — Junior Sara Vigen, a girls soccer goalkeeper at South Lakes High School, was named Washington Post First Team All-Met. Sara is the first SLHS girls soccer player to be named First Team All-Met since 1987.

Take A Break Concerts Return — Reston Community Center’s Take A Break Concert series returns to Lake Anne Plaza tonight from 7 to 9 p.m. The Barretones (Bluegrass) will perform on the Plaza. Celebrate Sizanani — Reston-based Global Camps Africa will host Sizanani Family Fun Day from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday.
