This Weekend: Sobriety Checkpoints in Reston District

Fairfax County Police Fairfax County Police will be conducting sobriety checkpoints in the Reston District Friday and Saturday nights.

Occasional sobriety checkpoints are one way police deter drivers from drinking and driving. Police do not announce the exact location in advance.

Fairfax County Police also participate in a region-wide public awareness program, Checkpoint Strikeforce.

The Reston District includes all of Reston, as well as unincorporated Herndon, Oak Hill and Great Falls.
