The Fairfax County Department of Transportation has organized conceptual information to move the W&OD Trail’s crossing at Wiehle up and over the often congested intersection.
The bridge crossing is part of the county’s planned Reston Area Metrorail Station improvements, a long term plan to boost pedestrian connectivity and ease backups around the Wiehle-Reston East Metro Station. See the entire list of plans on the FCDOT website.
FCDOT staff will present the concepts to the Reston Association Design Review Board on Tuesday, July 21 at 7 p.m. at RA Headquarters (12001 Sunrise Valley Dr.)
