Bite Me Cancer Benefit — The second annual Bite Me Cancer for Lifetime fundraiser will take place Friday 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Life Time Athletic in Reston. The whole family is invited to use the outdoor pool, try some demos of spin and exercise classes and other healthy activities (adults will also receive a free seven-day pass to the club). Cross Country Kudos — South Lakes High School’s girls varsity team finished second and the boys teams finished sixth and 10th out of 30 schools in the Chancellor High School Cross Country Invitational in Fredericksburg. SLHS  sophomore Alex Koukili won the developmental (JV) boys race and it was his first high school cross country race.
