Reston Pet of the Week: Wilma

wilma1

This week’s Reston Pet of the Week is Wilma, a little Beagle puppy who needs a home. Here is what her people at Lucky Dog Animal Rescue have to say about her (in Wilma’s voice — if she could talk):

My siblings and I are going to be making our way to DC soon. You know what would be more awesome than a kong filled with frozen peanut butter? To have a home of my very own when I get there!

I want to spend the fall romping in piles of leaves and snoozing in that last sliver of late afternoon sunshine with my forever family. I get so excited just thinking about it I can’t stop my tail from wagging.

Just remember, I’m an jubilant young gal, so I’ll need someone keeping an eye out for me during the day, so I’m bummed to say if you work a 9-5 job outside the home, I won’t be a good fit for you unless you can commit to hiring a dog walker to come MULTIPLE times a day to visit me.

I wanna grow up to be a well-mannered young lady, so you’ll need to get me some puppy schooling so I can have the absolute best manners.

Wilma will need remaining vaccines and will need to be spayed by January. The cost of the spay will be included in her $350 adoption fee.

The adoption fee for this dog is $350, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations. If you are interested in adopting, please download our Adoption Questionnaire and e-mail it to at Tanya at [email protected].

Are you and Wilma a match? If so, let us know and our sponsor, Becky’s Pet Care, will send you a sample of dog treats and $100 in Becky’s Bucks.
