Pet of the Week: Nanuk

Meet this week’s Reston Pet of the Week Nanuk, a dog who needs a new home. Here is what the people at the Humane Society of Fairfax County have to say about him:

What could possibly be cuter than a Pug and Shih Tzu mix? Nanuk, of course, since he is a Pug and Shih Tzu mix.

He’s 4 yrs old, weights about 30 pounds, has a tan and white coat and is absolutely gorgeous. He takes a minute or so to warm up to people, but within seconds is in your lap. He’s good with other dogs and loves to play. He has short legs, a long body and adorable expressions. Come and meet this cutie patootie before someone else is getting tons of kisses.

For more information or to see Nanuk, submit an online dog adoption application. After reviewing the application, staff will contact you, typically within 48 hours, to make an appointment to visit the farm where our dogs and horses are kept.

Are you and Nanuk a match? If so, let us know and our sponsor, Becky’s Pet Care, will send you $100 in Becky’s Bucks, as well as some treats.
