Crime Roundup: Daytime Break-In on Dakota Lakes Drive

Items were taken from a home in the Hattontown area during a break-in last week.

The Fairfax County Police Department says the crime took place in the 2300 block of Dakota Lakes Drive last Tuesday. A home was broken into between 2 p.m. and 4:45 p.m., according to the report, and items were stolen. Detectives are investigating the case.

Meanwhile, FCPD’s Reston District Station also reported the following crimes in recent days:

11700 block of Ledura Court, property from vehicle

900 block of Riva Ridge Drive, tools from residence

11400 block of South Lakes Drive, bicycle from school

2200 block of Stone Wheel Drive, clothing from business

11800 block of Sunrise Valley Drive, cellphone from residence

11400 block of Waterview Cluster, tires from vehicle
