Crime Roundup: Home Burglary Reported; No Major Incidents

No major incidents were reported by the Fairfax County Police Department this week.

Last Thursday (August 16), a burglary happened at the 1600 block of Apricot Court at 11 p.m. and the next day at 7 a.m. According to police, an unknown person entered the house through the garage door and took several personal items.

In a separate incident, a Reston resident was arrested and charged with grand theft auto on Saturday (August 18).

Omar Romero-Caceres, 37, was found by a deputy on patrol who spotted him with a vehicle taken from Fairfax County, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office.

11900 block of Market Street, merchandise from business

12000 block of North Shore Drive, debit card from residence

11500 block of North Shore Drive, cash from vehicle

13300 block of Parcher Avenue, tools from vehicle

11600 block of Vantage Hill Road, credit card from vehicle

11400 block of Waterhaven Court, sunglasses from vehicle
