Lawyers Road at Drop Forge Lane in Reston is now open after rescue personnel removed someone who was trapped inside a burning car.
Crews extricated  someone who was trapped inside a car involved in the crash. Local fire and rescue crews said the person was conscious and was flown to an area hospital. The car was on fire and the person suffered serious injuries.
The Fairfax County Police Department urged motorists to avoid the area and use an alternate route. The crash happened today (April 13) at around 2:15 p.m.
