Pet of the Week: Romeo

Meet Romeo, an adult male Domestic Short Hair available for adoption locally.

Here is what his friends at Little Buddies Adoption and Humane Society have to say:

Romeo was rescued from the outdoors. The vet estimated him to be around 5 years old. He tested positive for FIV and requires an indoor only home.

Romeo is a very sweet boy who enjoys playing with his toy mice; greets his mom when she comes home, follows her around the house and sleeps in bed with her all night. He is talkative, loves attention and purrs often. He will make a great pet in a home without small children or elderly.

When first rescued, Romeo was unsure of people and liked to unexpectedly swat. However, he has made remarkable progress and has become more acceptable of being picked up and petted. Still, it is recommended that Romeo be adopted by someone who understands cats that have a touch temperament. Romeo is handsome and incredibly lovable.

Are you and Romeo a match? If so, let us know and our sponsor, Becky’s Pet Care, will send you some treats and prizes.
