New Outback Steakhouse opens in Herndon next week

Outback Steakhouse will celebrate its grand opening on Tuesday (July 6), moving up the street from its previous location in the Town of Herndon.

The new 6,543-square-foot restaurant at 365 Elden Street features a large bar area and dining room. The current location at 150 Elden Street closed yesterday (Tuesday).

Douglas Canby, the restaurant’s proprietor, said the company is giving up to $5,000 from opening day proceeds to Operation Homefront, a nonprofit organization that supports military families.
