Potomac Financial Private Client Group, a growing independent financial advisory firm, is moving to Reston.
They have served clients all over the D.C. Metro area — including many in Reston — since 2005. The firm works with individuals and families to provide financial planning, investment advice and insurance. Plans and portfolios are customized for each client based on their long-term goals and values.
PFPCG offers portfolios based on environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors, so that clients can align their investments with their values. “We are looking forward to becoming even more active in Reston,” says President Steve Richardson, CFP, CRPS, CPA; “we believe giving back to the community is part of our responsibility as business owners.”
The company recently took a few hours to serve ice cream during the annual Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream for a Cause benefiting SafeSpot Children’s Advocacy Center of Fairfax County. One of the principal Advisors, Joe Lamoglia, ChFC, currently serves as the Reston Rotary Foundation President and has been an active Rotary member since 2010.
The four principal advisors are all CFP or ChFC certified and have been in practice together is since 2005 — together, they have more than 70 years’ experience in guiding clients to their financial goals. The firm manages nearly $300 million in assets for approximately 400 families. As a planning centered firm, PFPCG requires no minimum asset level and is accepting new clients.
