Peace & Identity – Art – Poetry – Music. Opening Reception

25 Local Artists – 11 Poets – music composer and musicians – filmmaker, all together have joined the first step of Peace & Identity project, in the believe that diversity should be used to nurture Peace, and through the cohesion of different art forms, this concept can be expressed at its best. – Peace and Identity is conceived as an itinerants show intent on being a reflection of the impermanence of peace: a quest for the artistic community on the fragility of peace.
The Fine Art Exhibition Runs from April 2nd to April 30th at Jo-Anne Rose Gallery Community Center, Lake Anne, Reston.- Opening Reception will present Poets and their poems, live music, and the event will be filmed, to produce a documentary.
A book with Artists and Poets has been published and will be available for sale at the opening reception.

Peace & Identity itinerant show will be presented again in September including in this second step also photographers and dancers.
