The Closet’s Special Art Sale

The Closet's Temporary Store

771 Elden Street

Herndon, Virginia 20170

The Closet of the Greater Herndon Area will hold a special Art Sale at its Elden Street location (771 Elden Street, Herndon, VA) 10-4 on Thursday through Saturday, December 8-10. Huge inventory at liquidation prices; most items less than $25! Redecorate your walls for the new year, or buy art for a “hard to buy for” person in your life — and help your community at the same time! Net proceeds benefit The Closet of the Greater Herndon Area, which supports the Herndon-Reston community through grants to local nonprofits and college scholarships to local students.

The Closet is a nonprofit thrift shop, founded in 1974 by a handful of faith communities to assist low-income families by selling gently used items at nominal prices. In 2015, The Closet gave away more than $68,000 worth of clothing and necessities to over 1500 needy persons referred by an authorized social service agency or one of our member congregations, as well as donating more than $54,000 in profits to local organizations and providing scholarships to local students.
