Different Paths: Photography and Friendship
An Exhibit from Seven Fine Art Photographers
Exhibit Dates: February 2 – 27, 2014
Different Paths: Photography and Friendship, an exhibit of photography by seven fine art photographers who began their artistic journeys twenty years ago in Reston, Virginia will be on view February 2 – 27 in the gallery at Reston Community Center-Hunters Woods, 2310 Colts Neck Road, Reston, Virginia.
The exhibit includes photographs by Sandra Delzell, Carolyn Ann Day, Jan Bender, David Ernst, Jane Ernst, Carlisle Small, and Brenda Drury. The images range from black and white photographs created with old fashioned sheet film cameras to complex digital color images.
The photographers met while studying photography and exhibiting their work in shows sponsored by Reston art and photography organizations. All seven continued on in photography following different paths and developing personal styles, but they maintained the supportive friendships they formed in Reston.
