Lower Lakes — Reston Association’s annual lake inspections will start on Wednesday, May 10. RA’s four lakes will be lowered about a foot prior to the inspections. Divers and an inspection team on the shoreline will be looking at the structural condition of the spillway, including the concrete, spillway gates and outfall pipes. The lakes will be lowered for just a few days and will be refilled naturally.
