McLean Cybersecurity Startup Lands $2.5M in Funding — Bricklayer AI has raised $2.5 million “to continue building out an artificial intelligence-powered platform designed to fill” what founder Adam Vincent says is “a chronic shortage of qualified cybersecurity experts.” The funds will enable the 14-month-old startup to “triple its workforce over the next year to 15 full-time employees” and look for office space, potentially in McLean or Arlington. McLean Students Win Performing Arts Scholarships — “Twelve young local artists were awarded 2024 James C. Macdonald Performing Arts Scholarships by the McLean Community Center.
