Felons’ Voting Rights Restored — Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe restored the voting rights of 2,500 felons on Wednesday. After previous Gov. Bob McDonnell began the process, McAuliffe in April made the process more transparent by reducing the waiting period for offenders with more serious offenses to have their rights automatically restored.
