Hundreds of runners braved poor race conditions Sunday at the second annual Runners Marathon of Reston.
Still, more than 200 marathoners and 350 marathoners finished the course that ran through South Reston.
Marathon winners were Michael Wardian, 34, in 2:44:44 and and Jill Atherton-Melli in 3:34:55
Half marathon winners were Matthew Clark, 30, in 1:20:10 and Deedee Loughran, 55, in 1:33:44.
