FCPS Wants More From Supervisors — Fairfax County Public Schools Superintendent Karen Garza last week asked the county Board of Supervisors for more money than the $2 billion proposed for next year’s budget. The school system is already slated to get $67 million more than in FY 2015, but falls $14 million short of what the school system needs to cover expanding enrollment, full day Mondays and teacher raises, among others.
