Nearby: Man Robbed and Assaulted Near Herndon’s Clocktower

Fairfax County Police A 24-year old man was robbed and assaulted early Monday as he waited for a bus near the Clocktower Shopping Center at Sunrise Valley Drive and Centreville Road in unincorporated Herndon, Fairfax County Police said.

The victim, 24, told police he was waiting for a bus at 2:15 a.m. when two men approached him, assaulted him and took his wallet. They fled on foot.

The victim was transported to Reston Hospital Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

The only description of the suspects is that they appeared to be Hispanic, the victim said.
