Fairfax County Police A 24-year old man was robbed and assaulted early Monday as he waited for a bus near the Clocktower Shopping Center at Sunrise Valley Drive and Centreville Road in unincorporated Herndon, Fairfax County Police said.

The victim, 24, told police he was waiting for a bus at 2:15 a.m. when two men approached him, assaulted him and took his wallet. They fled on foot.

The victim was transported to Reston Hospital Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

The only description of the suspects is that they appeared to be Hispanic, the victim said.

Pedestrian accident: A man was injured Tuesday about 6:30 p.m. when he was struck by a car on Bowman Towne Drive. Police said the injuries appeared to be not life threatening

    I always find it amusing when Fairfax County tries to insert itself to improve economic development. Build a brewery, or something, that’s a fantastic idea! These are the same people that brought us the Lake Anne debacle. I suggest they focus on doing their job, so companies looking to relocate won’t look elsewhere due to the length of time it takes to get plans approved through their cumbersome organization.
