A construction worker climbed to the roof of the Trump International Hotel and Tower in Vancouver to fly the Mexican flag, and send a message to U.S. presidential hopeful Donald Trump.
In a video of the stunt, which took place on Saturday, Diego Saul Reyna says it is Mexican workers that helped build the tower bearing Trump’s name.
“From the dry wall to the concrete finish to the steel framing … it’s standing here today thanks to us – to our work and our labour,” he says.
In a Facebook post, Reyna further explained his reason for hoisting the flag.
“The comments Trump has made about us did not stop us from doing the high quality work we have always done, in our home country or when we migrate to the U.S./Canada,” Reyna said, noting that Trump’s ancestors were also immigrants to North America. “The insults you have said about us have not changed our work ethic.”

Nor has it changed the fact that your willingness to work for sub-standard wages has kept legal Americans unemployed.

WaPo wants to help the left wing get more taxes for the so-called “needs.” But if the COunty is poorer, from whence does it come. Me! The gainfully employed, educated, English speaking people who already pay most of the taxes. If the Board thinks it’s too hard to cut, give me a shot at it!

Sometimes you can digest a story right down to the nub with one quote:
“That’s a tripping hazard,” Ortiz said in Spanish, pointing to the deteriorating court, which park officials say was last resurfaced in 2011

Is parking included in the ticket for $100? Or will that be another $2 an hour?
