Herndon Senior Earns National Merit Scholarship — Herndon High’s Jessica Nielsen is one of 15 Fairfax County Public Schools students who have earned a Merit Scholarship from the National Merit Scholarship Corporation. About 3,000 students nationwide are chosen as National Merit finalists and will receive a monetary award from their chosen university. Nielsen will attend Brigham Young University. [FCPS]
