I wonder how old was this guy. Hard to tell.
There is obviously a whole story behind this. But the ending seems worse than whatever that story could be.

He graduated from high school in Maryland in 85, so he is 48 or 49. Police did not say though.

The DC MD listed as an internalist, was arested for forgery of a prescription in NC and was barred from his medical license in Calfornia, but this took place in 2009 for the initial arrest and then in 2012-13 for Calfornia to find out and bar him.

Very sad news. No offense to the victim but was the dog dead too?

    • Arielle in NoVA

Yes – it’s hard to tell whether the man and dog were both dead or whether the man was dead and was found with his live dog. Please clarify.

I understood this as written to mean the dog and the man were dead. I presume he shot the dog, then himself.

        • Arielle in NoVA

That’s what it sounded like to me as well. I was hoping he hadn’t killed the dog.

          • Karen Goff

Yes, the dog is dead too. The story has been amended to make that clearer.
