McAuliffe Proposes Pay Increase for Virginia Teachers, State Workers — Gov. Terry McAuliffe on Tuesday announced that he is proposing a 1.5 percent pay increase that would go into effect for Virginia teachers and state workers beginning in December 2017, if approved by the General Assembly.
