Police are looking for two men in connection with a robbery that occurred on New Year’s Day.

Around 1:30 p.m., two men began fighting with a food delivery driver who was delivering an order to an apartment at the 11600 block of Stoneview Square, according to the Fairfax County Police Department.

The food delivery driver stopped fighting when one of the men displayed a knife, according to the report. The two men then went through his pockets and took an undisclosed amount of cash.

“The men were described as possibly black or Hispanic, in their early 20s, wearing all dark clothing,” according to the report.

The food delivery driver was not injured, police say.

I would be curious if the data is readily available to have a heat-map where-in you show crimes on the map. Where the circle is placed on the location and it has a radius of a specific number of meters.

Or to be more blunt. How many crimes happen near-and-around ShadowHood in a given year?

You can get crime reports giving location from a site called Personalized Spot Crime Report. It comes via email. The data goes well beyond what the County Police choose to publish on their daily blotter.

Also, FYI—you can access the Fairfax County Police arrest data base, but good luck because that site lacks a sort function.

    • Why do you bother?

      Your bigotry is showing…

I got censored for some reason, but given the vagueness of the perp description, I smell a lie on the part of the delivery man. Just an instinct. Who knows but he?

By the way, the words for which I was censored, were a quote from the article. Reston Now ought to give that some thought.
