What is Lewy body dementia? Understanding the signs and treatment options

Join The Kensington Reston memory care supervisor and board-certified dementia practitioner, Meaghan Dingwall, for an interactive Ask the Expert presentation to increase your knowledge about Lewy body dementia.

The presentation will take place this Thursday, Aug. 12, 6-6:45 p.m. via Zoom.

Many times, Lewy body dementia is unrecognized and under-diagnosed, and finding ways to make this challenging disease more manageable is essential to improve the quality of life for all involved.

Meaghan will not only help us to understand the signs and potential treatment of this disease but also provide an opportunity for caregivers and families to learn what happens when the brain changes and how to respond in compassionate, thoughtful ways with your loved one.

Our promise at The Kensington is to love and care for your family as we do our own. And we do. We are here for you — skilled. Prepared and ready to participate fully in your care journey.

RSVP online at KensingtonReston.com/events or give us a call at 571-356-9052.
