National Parks Boosting Virginia Business — Virginia national park sites are drawing millions of visitors a year and are pumping nearly a billion dollars into the state economy. The U.S. Department of the Interior says Virginia’s national park sites yielded nearly $1 billion dollars in economic benefits and attracted 23 million visits in 2012.
