Upgrades to the Toll Rd ?
    They mean higher tolls
It was paid off 20 years ago when the construction costs were covered
I guess our Ken and Hudgens are addicted to spending other peoples money

    • OneReally

We just need to stop electing people like Ken and hug a developer.
The one state rep from Loudoun said it best. Toll road users are paying for the silver line, but see no benefits.

I know I stay off that death trap.

      • Why do you bother?

“I know I stay off that death trap.”

Yes, they are seriously considered congestion based pricing on the toll road. Think of the fun of paying $35 on 267 and $45 on I66. $80 for a single trip to DC.

Curious much of these monies would actually go into government coffers and how much will be plowed into the commercial company coffers?

  • Why do you bother?

The toll is a tax, pure and simple. If it wasn’t levied in this manner, they’d find another way into our pockets. At least the toll road is something I can choose to avoid, unlike other taxes.

hard to avoid the toll road from Reston without a huge effort and extra time. Reston gets less and less attractive every day.

      • Why do you bother?

I don’t know about huge effort, but yes, extra time. I am willing to pay for the ease of the toll road.

        • Scott

Try to get to Tyson’s from Reston without the toll road. No good way.
I’m also willing to pay for the toll road, but how much? That is the question with Dynamic pricing. It’s already 3.75 to get from Tyson’s to Reston.

          • Why do you bother?

Take Hunter Mill around to 7.

          • OneReally

Try Lawyers to 123. That is my preferred route.

  • Thanks Susan

You provided a sanctuary for me and my family. You made me happy. You made a learn a few things. Enjoy the journey.
