This is disgusting. If only the county would’ve spent more money to clearly identify this intersection the drivers of these cars would never have collided.

    • OneReally

The county continues to develop at a break neck pace. Most roads are never realigned or upgraded. We are driving over the same farming community roads. They’re just paved now.

I don’t like this particular spot at all.

But you basically do not have a choice because taking the other route would require you to pay tolls. There goes the neighborhood…

          Kaaching !

        • The Constitutionalist

You could walk, but that probably isn’t the safest thing to do right now given the current state of panic.

          • $$$$$

I would guess the opposite. People put their phones down to find the baby stroller.

        There are numerous examples
This is just one of them

Sunrise and Sunset to name a couple more.

      • The Constitutionalist

Yeah, that’s basically what I said.

    • 30yearsinreston

Traffic accidents are becoming the ‘new normal’ in Reston
Dont worry, relief is coming as bike lanes will fix the congestion
As developers and our elected supervisor tell us, additional improvements are an unnecessary economic burden

That intersection is due to get a light … or was due to get a light, except the Metro commitment from VA blew a hole in Northern Virginia Transportation Priorities Plan so who knows where it stands now?
