Police Investigate Possible Shooting in Reston — Local police investigated a possible shooting that happened around 4:15 p.m. on Friday on Torrey Pines Court. So far, no victim or scene was located. [Fairfax County Police Department]

Missing Fairfax County Man Located — “After sending a senior alert, Virginia State Police have found a missing 93-year-old man from Fairfax County, Virginia. Richard Douglas Pease was last seen on Dec. 3 around 11:30 a.m. on the 2000 block of Colts Neck Road in Reston. The senior alert was canceled on Sunday morning after Pease was safely located.” [NBC]

Local residents and family members are still searching for an endangered Reston man who went missing after walking out of Reston Hospital Center on May 10.

Despite several community-wide efforts — including a helicopter-assisted search — Michael Delaney, 75, has not been found.

“There has been not one positive sighting of him since he left Reston Hospital on May 10,” said Courtney Park-Jamborsky, Delaney’s stepdaughter.

The Fairfax County Police Department and the Virginia Department of Emergency Management plan to conduct another search for Delaney tomorrow (Saturday).

Local police suspended their search on May 13. Local residents have organized community searches and Facebook groups since then.

Delaney, who has Alzheimer’s disease, is 6-foot-3 and weighs 170 pounds. He has blue eyes and gray hair. When he disappeared, he was wearing a yellow hospital gown and jeans.

Update: Kunicki has been found and is safe, according to police.

Local police are searching for a woman who was last seen in the 14000 block of North Point Village Center.

Maggie Kunicki, 49, was last seen on Saturday,  Feb. 22. The Fairfax County Police Department issued the following description for Kunicki:

“She is 5’7″, 145lbs, green eyes, bro hair, white long sleeve shirt and dark pants. Endangered due to mental and/or physical health conditions,” police said.

(Update: Crisafi was found safe on Tuesday).

Local police are searching for a missing woman who was last seen on the 1800 block of Town Center Parkway today.

Annette Crisafi, 48, was last seen around 12:25 a.m. today (Tuesday) and is considered endangered due to “mental and/or physical health issues,” according the Fairfax County Police Department.

Crisafi is 5’6”, 126 pounds, and has brown hair and green eyes. She was wearing a navy blue sweater with white and blue checkered pants.

Update at 9:30 a.m.: The two missing teens were found, police said.

Local police are searching for two missing teens who were last seen Wednesday morning in Reston.

Police said Renata Yearout, 15, and Damion Johnson, 16, were seen around 8 a.m. in the 1400 block of Northpoint Glen Court.

Although the Fairfax County Police Department did not establish a link between the two cases, police believe the teens are together.

The teens are considered endangered due to mental health or physical health concerns, police said.

Yearout is 5-feet-6-inches tall, weighs 130 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes. Johnson is 5-feet-11-inches tall, weighs 150 pounds, and has black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a white long sleeve shirt.

Herndon Police have found Donald Higgins, a 65-year-old Reston resident who went missing on Monday. Higgins, who suffers from dementia, was found after an extended search, according to the police department. He was last seen at 10:30 p.m on Sunday. when he left his home on Tyler Street in Herndon.

Earlier today, a Fairfax County Police Department helicopter cleared the area after searching for Higgins Tuesday morning near the Loudoun County line, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Department.
