Leave it to incompetent Metro..what a system! and to “deal with decrease in ridership” and loss of revenue, Metro increases fares and cuts hours of operation….how can management be so totally incompetent?! Even after “safe track” has been completed, breakdowns are occurring every day! Is there NO accountasblility?

    • The Constitutionalist

As is with all government run organizations.

    • Actually, MWAA is handling the building of the Silver Line before handing over to WMATA. Still, I think the woes of WMATA had a ripple effect on MWAA. At least it isn’t the Silver Spring Transit Depot debacle!

      • Greg

MWAA has spent many billions on Dulles over the past 30 years and it’s running a distant third of three. They are even wasting money trying to rebrand it Dulles International.

Hudgins is on the metro board. Enough said?

        Of course

  • Greg

And there’s this. Money and time being wasted on a system that’s still not used anywhere in Metro: “Some of those changes include equipment changes to improve safety over original designs, including improvements to Metro’s automatic train control system.

Everyone should drop in on the DRB meeting
