I definitely recommend swinging by the Elden Street Tea Shop! I did last Saturday curious what they had for Lapsang souchong… a favorite of mine as it reminds me of a campfire. For a small pop-up they have a great selection. Also made for some good stocking stuffers.

Considering the demographics of the ToH, I can’t see a Hipster chai joint being successful for very long. Heck, if the ToH can’t even support a 5 Guys, or even a stand-alone Starbucks (Yes, that one has closed recently), I don’t see how something like this can operate profitably.

Which Starbucks? Aren’t they opening up one where the bagel used to be?

There was one next door to Guapo’s and next to Mellow Mushroom, across the street from the McD’s by the Intermediate/Middle school property along Elden St.

          Now I remember.

As I pointed out to my teenager the other night. Once people turn on Starbucks and stop paying 12 dollars for coffee there will be alot of “Oh yea that used to be a starbucks too.”

Yep. Looks like those perky baristas will have to find some place else to perk.
