Total Wine & More at Plaza America Begins Hiring

by RestonNow.com January 17, 2018 at 3:00 pm 11 Comments

Total Wine & More is eying open day at Plaza America.

Hiring has begun for all positions at the beer, wine and spirit purveyor, which will be located on 11620 Plaza America Drive.

Although hiring is in full-swing, a corporate office representative declined to indicate when the store will open. It was expected to open by the end of last year, according to the Washington Business Journal.

“At this time, the exact dates and locales have not been finalized,” the representative wrote in a statement.

The store will replace Staples, which closed in October after opening in 2011.

According to the Total Wine & More website:

Our typical store carries more than 8,000 different wines from every wine-producing region in the world, including more than 2,000 wines not available in any other store. The typical Total Wine & More also carries more than 2,500 beers, from America’s most popular brands to hard-to-find microbrews and imports, and more than 3,000 different spirits in every style and price range.

Total Wine & More is also located in Sterling, Fairfax and McLean.

    Mmmn. Beer!

If they can beat Harris Teeter for beer prices, I will visit often! Safeway has become as bad a Giant in this regard.

If they haven’t finalized the locale by now, and are planning on opening on Monday, they are in trouble.

      Editing, as usual.

        That was not necessary

Neither are half your comments, yet that doesn’t stop anyone now does it? Do we really comment here out of necessity?

I stand by my statement. Immigration brings its challenges. Are we supposed to pretend otherwise? I didn’t read that memo. I tore it up. Have you never been on a call with an Indian immigrant and struggled to understand? A good friend of mine speaks Farsi and German as his first two languages. His English is not bad, but not always correct. makes sense to me. It’s better than my Spanish or Russian.

Better retrieve that memo from the trash and read it, Mike M. Or perhaps we can get you another copy from one of our mutual Indian or Arabic friends, but only if you ask nice ( which I don’t think you are capable of doing) LOL. A little patience and tolerance goes a long way, not that you would ever notice or care…

Did you even read what I wrote? Are you tolerant of me? Or just superior?

“Corporate office representative declined to indicate when the store is expected to open on Monday afternoon.” I will not have an issue with understanding this statement when I get around to having had read this before.
