The Fairfax County Police Department has released new information about an attempted robbery on Tuesday at the 2200 block of Hunters Woods Plaza.

At around 5:15 a.m., a resident told police that several young men attempted to rob him at gunpoint. When one of the men implied he had a gun, the resident ran away. Two gunshots were fired and the group dispersed.

The man described the group as five Hispanic men who were at least 18 years old. Multiple shell casings were found on the scene and one bullet entered another resident’s home.

No one was harmed and nothing was taken. The incident remains under investigation. A helicopter-assisted search following the incident was unsuccessful in tracking the suspects.

Why bother with the choppers? This should be a wake up call for LE and their furry friends, literally.

Soooo what ARE the police doing to find these guys?? I live way too close to where this happened to be comfortable.

Just to reiterate, . . . there were some bad “trolls” in here in the past saying that Hunters Woods had a crime problem. They were racist for saying that. In fact, acknowledging this event is racist. The event itself is racist. It just didn’t happen. Thank you.

Great to hear that these low life s***s are 18, hopefully longer time behind bars or maybe even some deportations. Much of the surrounding area around Hunters Woods should be gutted and bull-dozed of the rats that live there. Its a shame that part of Reston is diseased.

    • Why do you bother?

How do you know they’re illegal? That would be the only LEGAL reason to deport them.

I hope they get caught and locked up for a very long time.

So just because they’re Hispanics they’re legal?
