Update, 2 p.m. Friday — The westbound lanes of Sunrise Valley are still closed for repairs. Plan an alternate route.

Site of Nov. 6 water main breakA water main break in the 12300 block (Mercator Drive at U.S. Geological Survey entrance) is causing the road to buckle in the right lane and the right-hand turn lane, authorities said.

Authorities said the road will be shut down for an “undetermined amount” of time today for repairs.
