The food scene at RTC West, a small office park slated to become a major mixed-use project, is coming to life with the addition of another restaurant.

Rajiv Chopra, a chef-turned-owner, plans to open Bombay Velvet (12120 Sunset Hills Road), a fine-dining, Indian restaurant by the last week of November or the beginning of December. Chopra says the restaurant, which will be located next to Honeygrow, will offer a unique “upscale” dining experience with a full bar menu.

A grand opening will likely be held sometime near Christmas, Chopra told Reston Now.  Chopra also owns three other Indian restaurants called Punjabi By Nature in Leesburg, Chantilly, and Vienna, but Bombay Velvet offers “a completely new concept” that differentiates itself from Chopra’s other businesses, he said.

The Indian restaurant adds a new mix to existing area restaurants, including Honeygrow and BGR The Burger Joint.

“The food scene at RTC West, a small office park located slated to become…” wtf?

“A grand opening will likely be held sometime near Christmas…” ESL moment?

“that differentiates itself Chopra’s other businesses…” prepositions matter!!

“The Indian restaurants adds a new mix to existing area restaurants…”

Seriously Fatimah! You have one job: to write articles — and you can’t even do that well.

Just what we need, another Indian restaurant? I have had enough culinary adventures in NoVa.
At this point I would settle for an old Ponderosa Steak House so long as I didn’t have to pay for parking.
    Good luck just the same.

Just head on over to the Outback Steak House in Herndon. Plenty of free parking out front.

Fine dining indian restaurant is an oxymoron
Goat Rogan Josh or Butter chicken isnt on the Michelin list
It will be $12 buffet sooN

I’ve eaten at a two Michelin Star indian restaurant in London. It was as amazing as you’d expect it to be. (oh and I ordered Butter Chicken) I’m glad you’ve narrowed an entire cultural’s cuisine to the equivalent of a hot dog.

Don’t try reasoning with them. They know (ha) American culture and cuisine is supreme(TM) to others. Everyone knows Outback Steakhouse is the at the summit of distinguished gastronomical establishments.
